How to build your model
It begins with your reference data: real samples from the real conditions your team works in.

Step 1. Scan and send
You scan each sample with the NIRStudio device. At the same time, you send that same sample to a lab for a certified reference analysis.

Step 2. We build your model
We match each device scan to its certified lab result. From these pairs, we build and validate a model trained specifically on your crops, soils or feed.

Step 3. Ready to use
The validated model is loaded into the NIRStudio ecosystem, where your team can access it through the app, ready to use in the field.

Can I use the same device for different types of samples like soil, manure, and plant tissue?
Yes. The same device can analyze multiple sample types.

Do I need an internet connection to scan samples directly in the field? Or can I work offline?
The device and app work fully offline for scanning.
You can scan all the samples in the field and once you have internet access, results sync to your personal account in the app and web portal for storage and review.

Our models are built from hundreds of accurate and reliable lab-analyzed samples.
While NIR is not a replacement for certified laboratory testing in all cases, it provides fast, affordable and reliable values for on-site decision making.
